Maybe I will research more into this later. I'm sure there are studies out there for it, and I am sure animals have nerve endings so that implies that they do feel pain so. I've just always wondered how animals feel pain separate from humans. I am not saying there isn't a pain scale for animals, rather that I don't know if there are, I studied to be a nurse, not to be a vet tech so idk. Like of all of the pain scales there are (numerical raring pain scale 0-10, wong-baker faces pain scale, FLACC scale face, activity, legs, crying, consolability: CRIES scale crying, oxygenation, vital signs, facial expression, sleepless: COMFORT scale Alertness, calmness, respiratory distress, crying, physical movement, muscle tone, facial tension, blood pressure and heart rate: McGill pain scale, color analog scale, Mankoski pain scale, brief pain inventory, and DDS-I descriptor differential scale of pain intensity) most if not all are designed for humans solely in mind, even the ones used for infants, non-responsive persons, or people unable to communicate they still rely on human values. I can personally handle heat and burns more so than other people so when I get burnt I rate it low, but say if I get hit with a blunt instrument or something along those lines I have a lower pain tolerance for that as I am 120lb 5'9" male. And even then it is down to individuals pain tolerance. Right? I mean the only way we determine pain for people is by (usually) rating it on a scale of 1-10. Read this first. If knowledge is a sin, let us burn in hell for eternity with the satisfaction that we aren’t superstitous, ignorant bigots. The best lesson learned in life is to challenge the limitations of our mental capacities. CHRISTIANITY: The belief that some cosmic Jewish Zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. And they think the idea that a decrease in pirates caused global warming is ridiculous? I’m sorry if Christians find the belief that the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe “lame,” but –correct me if I’m wrong- Christians believe that a cosmic Jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple of discernment from a magical tree. Besides, the parody is lame, and there are few things more encouraging than cheap shots from one’s opponents.” “I’m happy to say I think FSM hurts the evolutionists’ program since, by mocking the Christian tradition … it reinforces the correct impression that there is genuine contempt for biblical faith in that camp.
